Phones labeled “A” in the Galaxy series, gained in popularity thanks to the luxury design, with much use of aluminum and ultra thin enclosures, although in specifications can’t be measured with the “S” series, which are still designed for those who want the most from their smartphone.

According to leaked information, the latest in the series, Galaxy A8, will have the smallest case of all Samsung phones so far, with a thickness of only 5,9 mm, which is less than 0,4 mm Galaxy A7. This makes it much thinner than almost all competitors, including the iPhone 6. The development will be a mix of plastic and aluminum, as well as all Galaxy A model yet.

The specifications also can’t be underestimated, although still not at the level of the highest class phones. Galaxy A7 will have 615 Snapdragon processor with eight cores (four with 1,7 GHz, and four with 1,0 GHz), has already proved to be strong enough for normal operation throughout the operating system, even when using bigger applications, although not the best for gaming. Galaxy A8 will have solid 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB of storage data.

The screen size is 5.7 inches with Full HD resolution (1920×1080), which is a solid figure for this class. The battery has a capacity of 3050 mAh despite the small housing, so we should expect a long life with a single charge. Similar as Galaxy S6, Galaxy A8 will come with a 16 megapixel camera at the back, and front camera of 5 megapixel.

Normally, the phone will come with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, the latest Touchwiz skin of Samsung, which debuted in Galaxy S6.

Still no information about the price of Galaxy A8, but even if there any, the new Samsung Galaxy A7 will probably be avaiable for purchase only in China.
